A quick primer before you start.

UL 72 (Fire)

Survives X minutes at 1,700°F with interior under 350°F. Common ratings: 30, 60, 90, 120 min.

RSC (Burglary)

Residential Security Container. 5-minute UL-tested tool resistance.

B-rate / C-rate

Trade designations for steel thickness. Not UL-listed — buyer beware.

TL-15 / TL-30

UL-tested 15/30 min professional tool resistance. Commercial-grade protection.
